• WWOOF: Opportunità di volontariato presso fattorie biologiche intorno al mondo

L'intento di WWOOF è lo sviluppo dell'interesse e della conoscenza per l'agricoltura Biologica e Biodinamica come scelta di vita: per questo il WWOOF offre la possibilità di viaggiare per il mondo in maniera economica offrendo aiuto dove sia richiesto e necessario.
La lista italiana comprende fattorie biologiche, biodinamiche e piccole comunità presenti in tutta Italia, soprattutto in Toscana e in Umbria.
Il sistema lavorativo di WWOOF è basato sullo scambio (mano d'opera in cambio di vitto e alloggio). Non è necessario avere esperienza ma dare la propria collaborazione in un rapporto libero e condiviso adattandosi di volta in volta allo stile di vita e alle necessità della famiglia ospitante sia nell'organizzazione delle attività che del tempo libero.
Il lavoro è molto vario: accudire gli animali, mungere, falciare il fieno, estirpare erbacce, aiutare per i raccolti, fare marmellate e numerosi altri lavori.
I principi fondamentali del WWOOF sono:
- Aiutare gli agricoltori che usano metodi biodinamici e biologici
- Aiutare le persone a tornare alla natura facendo esperienza diretta nella coltivazione e produzione biologica
- Avere uno scambio culturale e poter conoscere culture e popoli diversi
- Conoscere altre persone inserite nel mondo del biologico

• Irish Camphill Community Ballytobin, Irlanda

Camphill Community Ballytobin are seeking volunteers to come and help us and be a part of our integrated life-sharing community where we live and work with people with special needs.
Ballytobin is a beautiful camphill community set in the hills of county Kilkenny in the Republic of Ireland. now 37 years old, Ballytobin is a forward-looking community, founded upon the ideals and philosophy of anthroposophy. together, we look after the land, our vegetable gardens, our small farm and our house communities. we have various workshops, a therapeutic centre, and our wonderful community hall, castalia, which is home to our rich cultural life, festivals plays and concerts. We are looking for young but mature volunteers of 18 years or older to come and join us for a year or more. In return for your help and hard work the community will provide you with a bedroom, full board and lodging, some holiday time, a modest amount of money and the chance to meet people from all over the world and really make a difference!

Camphill Farm Community , quality life for adults with intellectual disabilities.
Camphill Farm Community was founded in 1978 and the land has been managed on organic and biodynamic principles since. Our main goal on the farm is to move towards sustainability, whilst fulfilling our vision - enabling quality of life for all at Camphill. A biodynamic farm is seen as an organism, which must be kept in optimum health for the people to benefit from all the products of the farm.
Camphill School Hermanus : An independent residential and day school for children and young people with special needs, situated in the beautiful Hemel en Aarde Valley near Hermanus. The School is part of the international Camphill Movement and aims to create and maintain a therapeutic community in which children and young adults with special needs can live, learn and work with others in healthy social relationships based on mutual care and respect.

• Motse Wa Badiri Camphill's, Botswana

Motse Wa Badiri, which means "the village where people work" in Setswana, is a Camphill Community located in Otse, a rural village 45km south of Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. We are a charitable NGO that offers vocational training, employment and where necessary, accommodation and social support, to people with disabilities. We are able to offer these services through the operation of four income generating workshops.

“Intercultural Dialogue for a sustainable future”
The summer school is addressed to young people from 18 to 28 years old;
During the Summer School participants will explore different ways of meeting each other beyond the boundaries of different cultures, languages, nations, religions, gender. Inspiring lecturers will lead a journey through Egyptian history and the roots of different religions; facilitators of different arts will guide us to interact with each other in a creative way. We will also have self-organised time where we explore emerging topics and share perspectives from our different countries and cultures. There will be also space for participants to be actively leading a session themselves.
So be ready to co-create the summer school for our sustainable future!
